What Happend To Nick . . . |

On Sunday morning January 27, 2008, 19 year old Nick Maniscalco was driving his
green Jetta home from Walla Walla after visiting friends. He was scheduled to be
at work at noon. He was driving north on Washington highway 12 when his car went
off the road and hit a heavy equipment trailer. He struck the trailer broadside
on the passengers side, crushing in the entire side of the car, and shoving the
heavy trailer more than 6 feet through a hurricane fence. Miraculously another motorist
who was following him found Nick almost immediately. According to the motorist following
Nick, he was not speeding or driving recklessly. Nick was found with only one injury-
a depressed skull fracture which caused a severe brain injury. His
brain suffered an injury which, while severe was unpredictable
in outcome. But faith has prevailed, and in spite of his extended coma
state Nick is recovering rapidly.
The news of Nicks accident has literally gone around the world, and people everywhere
have sent messages to let us know that they are praying for Nick and his family.
Please share the news with everyone you know and ask them to pray. Nick's church
has committed to helping his family both spiritually and financially. If you desire
to help, this website has a 'Donation' page where you can get instructions on how
best to contribute financially. But regardless, please remember Nick and the Maniscalcos
in your prayers.
