A long overdue greeting to you all,
     It has now been over two years since the car accident that changed Nick's life and our lives also. God has been very merciful to us. Nick is still on the mend although it is very slow. He has not used his wheel chair for two months now. He is using his walker fairly well now and is starting to transition to a four pronged cane. He has been negotiating stairs daily to come and go to his bedroom. When Nick is on the stairs it slows down traffic, but he is slowly speeding up.
     Nick now has his driving permit restricting him to a 10 mile radius from our home. We can't say his driving has improved, but neither has it gotten worse. He seems to do fine with an automatic. He is hoping to get his regular drivers license by this summer.
     Nick is taking one class at North Idaho College. English. So far, so good. He has to fit it in with his physical therapy sessions. Now he has homework to break up the monotony of stretching and exercise.
     We will never question how God works. He has strengthened our faith in Him. He has been so good. God continues to work miracles, not only for us, but for others that we pray for also. Nick's recovery has been agonizingly slow, but not without reward. Other lives are touched through what God is doing for Nick. We can only praise Him.
